Barraba on Film
Stanley Connolly (1905-1984) was a long time resident of the Barraba district.
During the 1960s and 70s he captured scenes in and around the township of Barraba using a 'Vinson Mansfield' standard 8mm movie camera, powered by a clockwork mechanism.
Lee Thom has begun uploading to YouTube some of the films that his grandfather, Stanley Connolly, filmed in and around Barraba.
He has created a specific YouTube channel for these films, called “Barraba Historic”. The link to it is www.youtube.com/user/BarrabaHistoric
This channel features historical vision captured through Stanley's lens.
If you have any additional informaiton about these films, if you recognise events, people, places, please contact the webmaster and the information will be forwarded on to Lee Thom.
